Hello blog,
It has now been more than a year since I last posted. Nevertheless, all's well. I'm now a graduate and am currently working at my uncle's company until the government calls me in for a job with them. I'm really excited and nervous at the same time. Hopefully, I'll get to do the job that I want *fingers crossed*
Meanwhile, all's looking good on the relationship front as well. Andrew and I have just celebrated our 3rd year anniversary! :D I have to admit that I was quite disappointed though as I thought that I'd be able to spend that day with him in the UK. I can't wait to get back when the opportunity comes cos most of the people close to me are still miles away, studying. You know who you are and I miss you all very much!!
Speaking of which, apparently Andrew sent me something via snail mail for our anniversary which was posted around 22nd November. I have yet to receive this. I hope it hasn't gotten lost in transit like my certificate and transcript did when my university tried sending them to me though. I hope that the reason for my not receiving it yet is merely cos of some delay and that it'll get to me soon...
And speaking of mail, what's up with the customs check / officers in Brunei?? I didn't know that they can be such (insert your choice of negative noun here)! My shipment of belongings arrived in October and I was really excited when I saw all the boxes when I got home one evening. But to my horror and disappointment, as I was going through my things, I found my Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume box opened!! How do I know this? It's because I personally sealed each and everyone of my belongings before posting them.
Okay, maybe it isn't that big of a deal to some people since I've already finished my bottle of perfume. The thing is that they took my Marc Jacobs lotions (which were still unused!) that came with the perfume box set along with my other branded perfume bottles albeit most of them were empty!! I was so so so mad! I mean, the nerve?!! Moreover, the Marc Jacobs perfume set was a gift from Andrew for my birthday!!! Thank God I still get to keep my empty Marc Jacobs perfume bottle cos otherwise... Grrrr...!
Yes, I'm petty. I know that and am not afraid to admit it.
